Teaching

Burnie Super Clinic will be actively involved in teaching. In conjunction with the University of Tasmania Rural Clinical School, General Practice Training Tasmania (GPTT) and other educational partners.

Clinicians will have an opportunity to teach and contribute to research. There are currently two academic GPs on staff.

The Burnie GP Super Clinic is a recognised training provider for registrars, UTAS medical students, John Flynn Medical Students and UTAS student nurses.The Clinic is also actively involved with each of the local schools assisting with work placements for their students.
